NYC SST: 40 Hour Site Safety Training for New Entrants

This package is only for new entrant workers. If you are not a new entrant, please see our regular 40-hour NYC SST Worker package (or view the 10-hour package if you already have your OSHA 30 card).

This course is for those who started work in New York City after December 1, 2019. The NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) classifies these workers as a new entrant. Before setting foot on any NYC job site with a Site Safety Plan, new entrants must earn an official OSHA 10 card from the U.S. Department of Labor. Within six months of starting your work, you must complete an additional 30-hour training to meet the Local Law 196 requirements and earn your SST Worker card.

Receive your SST card after completing the course, score at least 75% on the course quizzes and final exams, and provide identity verification documents.
